Before real estate, Karen spent 12 years with the Alberta Justice Department as a Correctional Officer, coming from a family rooted in law enforcement. This background shaped her strong sense of integrity, resilience, and ability to remain composed under pressure—qualities that now serve her clients well, especially those going through major life transitions like downsizing, divorce, or relocation.

One of Karen’s proudest professional achievements is pre-selling 30% of a development before construction even began, a testament to her expertise, trust-building, and market insight. She is passionate about guiding clients through one of the biggest decisions of their lives, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.

Outside of real estate, Karen prioritizes health and fitness, working out several times a week. She enjoys spending time outdoors—walking her dogs, hiking with her daughters and recently taking up golf. At home, she shares life with her Golden Retriever, Dutton, and her Australian Shepherd cross, Cisco. Her go-to drink is peppermint tea (no coffee after 11), perfectly matching her calm and balanced approach.
