Meet Tyella Amankwah
As a newly licensed REALTOR®, Tyella Amankwah brings fresh energy, creativity, and a people-focused approach to the real estate world. Working with Team UPC and specializing in inner-city infills, Tyella is also open to supporting clients at every stage of their real estate journey. While new to the industry, she offers a unique advantage: the perfect blend of her mother Ammoree’s experience and her own ability to bring modern marketing ideas, new trends, and innovative event concepts to their team.

Before stepping into real estate, Tyella developed strong leadership and communication skills as a senior coach with CYDC Basketball, where she works with kids aged 2–18. Her proudest early win in real estate so far has been successfully completing her RECA exams—an achievement that marks the beginning of a promising career built on commitment and drive.

Outside of real estate, Tyella loves playing basketball, coaching young athletes, travelling, and spending time with friends and family. She’s not a coffee drinker, but never turns down a good chai tea latte. And for a fun fact—she’s absolutely terrified of spiders, a detail that always makes people smile.

Focused primarily on Calgary’s inner-city neighborhoods, Tyella is excited to work with clients of all kinds and especially enjoys the opportunity to meet new people and help them navigate important decisions. She chose The Real Estate District for its strong sense of community, supportive leadership, and charitable spirit—as well as the opportunity to work closely with her mom, Ammoree, and her aunt, Carlyn Holmes.
